The Project

Imagine a place, where different people come together to share their ideas, knowledge and time in order to build a space for creativity, culture, otherness, diversity and freedom sustained by and for the community. A place, where you can create and experiment independently but also find kindred spirits to collaborate with. A place open for marginalized ideas and groups, where networks can grow. Sounds nice, right?

This place is coming into being right outside your door in the Bunker H in Bolzano. Imagine all the creative energy spreading from the Bunker to the rest of the city. Bolzano as the creative center of South Tyrol.

The Bunker could function as a symbol for transformation and inspire and empower other projects like this.

Envision a network of different kind of people, interests and professions starting from the Bunker expanding all over the city and further. Bolzano could leave its image as a conservative city behind, open up for new ideas, support marginalized groups and embrace community and diversity. (You can walk the next steps on the way to this vision with us!)

The aim of our project is to develop an image forming vision in a participatory way to show the potential of the space and bring commited people as well as financial support to the Bunker H in Bolzano. Therefore we held some workshops where we already developed first ideas. Discover the Bunker to see how the future might look like!

The Bunker Concepts

The Team

Our team consists of many passionate people and is constantly growing.

When we started the project, our working group emerged through a collaboration between us, 3 students of the Master in Eco-Social Design and the Bunker Team from Cooperativa Talia.

As the project was growing we also wanted to open up and grow our team. So we started an Action Group. It meets up regularly and offers various forms to participate. Thereby the Bunker and all team members can enrich each other/ benefit from one another.
